For Councils & Commissioners

Supporting Your Homelessness Prevention Work

A new, specialist not-for-profit offering tenancy sustainment support to local authority housing teams in the North West.

We provide practical, hands-on support to help vulnerable residents sustain their tenancies, with the goal of reducing pressure on your statutory services. We are open to pilot arrangements so you can see the quality of our work before any longer-term commitment.

Who We Work With

We partner with a range of statutory and commissioned services to deliver effective homelessness prevention.

  • Local authority housing departments
  • Housing options and homelessness prevention teams
  • Commissioning and procurement managers
  • Temporary accommodation teams
  • Adult social care teams
  • Mental health and complex needs services

Our Role in Homelessness Prevention

We provide person-centred tenancy support that addresses the root causes of housing instability. Our aim is to intervene before crisis point to:

  • Help prevent avoidable homelessness applications
  • Reduce the risk of repeat presentations
  • Support successful tenancy sustainment after move-on
  • Stabilise tenancies where breakdown is a risk

Why We're a Strong Delivery Partner

Effective support that reduces pressure on your teams and delivers measurable outcomes.

Early Intervention

We aim to resolve tenancy issues before they result in homelessness presentations, reducing demand on your statutory services.

Support Your Team

By picking up tenancy sustainment casework, we can help free up your housing officers to focus on other priorities.

Fast Response

We aim to contact new referrals within 48 hours and provide regular progress updates throughout the case.

Collaborative Approach

We work alongside your teams, landlords, and other agencies to support sustainable outcomes.

Outcome Reporting

Clear reporting on tenancy sustainment, arrears, and engagement for each case.

Safeguarding Compliant

All staff are DBS checked, trained in safeguarding, and follow trauma-informed practice principles.

What We Will Measure

As a new service, we do not yet have organisational outcome data. We believe in transparency, so rather than presenting targets as results, here is what we will track and report to referral partners as cases progress:

  • Tenancy sustainment rate (percentage of cases resulting in maintained tenancy)
  • Response time (referral to first contact)
  • Arrears reduction (average change per supported case)
  • Benefit claim outcomes (successful applications for eligible service users)

We are happy to agree reporting frameworks with pilot partners so that outcomes are measured against your priorities from day one.
